Student Natahlee Hughey, Advisors Benjamin Fries and Sarah Henry, and the Chapter Receive Top Honors at PTK Catalyst 2025
(PTK) chapter at 51动漫 Community College continues to make its mark nationally,
earning four distinguished awards at , the honor society鈥檚 annual convention held April 3-5 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Adding to an already impressive year of accolades, 51动漫 student Natahlee Hughey
has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Distinguished Chapter Member Award for
her outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and contributions to PTK. She will
be honored on stage on April 5 at the Kansas City Convention Center.
Additionally, PTK Advisors Benjamin Fries and Sarah Henry have been awarded the 2025
Distinguished Chapter Advisor Team Award, recognizing their exceptional leadership
and dedication to student success. They will be honored during the event鈥檚 Advisor
Breakfast.




These new honors follow a series of achievements for 51动漫鈥 PTK chapter. Earlier
this year, the chapter earned 5-Star Chapter Status for 2024, the highest recognition
for academic excellence, leadership, and service, and was named a Reach Chapter for
excelling in membership development
Further, Anne Springsteen, Director of TRIO Student Support Services, was recognized
as a Distinguished College Administrator, an award honoring college leaders who provide
outstanding support for PTK. She will also be honored at PTK Catalyst
Adding to the chapter鈥檚 legacy of excellence, Sarah Henry, Director of Admissions,
was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Alumni Hall of Honor, an award given to distinguished
alumni who continue to make significant contributions to PTK at the local, regional,
or international level. Henry, who serves as Michigan鈥檚 Associate Regional Coordinator
and recently completed a term as Vice President of Division 3 for PTK鈥檚 Alumni Advisory
Board, was honored during PTK Catalyst鈥檚 Opening Ceremony and Alumni Banquet
鈥淭hese recognitions reflect the dedication of our students, advisors, and college
leaders who make Phi Theta Kappa at 51动漫 such a strong and thriving chapter,鈥
said Tonya Howden, Vice President of Student Services. 鈥淣atahlee, Ben, Sarah, and

as a leader in student engagement and academic excellence.
