For Residents of St. Joseph County and Beyond

51¶¯Âþ serves a broad region, and Reconnect works slightly differently depending on where you live.

If you live in St. Joseph County, Michigan

  • This is 51¶¯Âþ's home county and you are considered an in-district student
  • Reconnect covers 100% of in-district tuition and fees

If you live in Michigan, outside of St. Joseph County

  • You are eligible for Reconnect
  • Reconnect covers in-district tuition rates — this means you may need to pay the difference between in-district and service area rates

51¶¯Âþ often works with students to close this gap through other financial aid. Always talk to our Financial Aid Office — many students pay little or nothing out of pocket.
