To hold your place in class, tuition payment must be arranged within 48 hours of registration.

At 51动漫 Community College, we offer several convenient ways to pay your tuition and keep your education on track. Whether you're using financial aid, setting up a payment plan, or receiving support from a third party, we鈥檙e here to help.

The Cashier鈥檚 Office is located in Student Services and can assist with questions about your student account, payment responsibilities, and options.

If you鈥檝e submitted the FAFSA but haven鈥檛 received your award letter, contact Financial Aid right away.

Third-Party Sponsorship

If a third-party is covering your tuition (like Michigan Works, MET, your employer, a regional high school or the Kalamazoo Promise), you must submit documentation to the Cashier鈥檚 Office prior to enrolling in courses.

Nelnet Payment Plans

51动漫 partners with Nelnet Campus Commerce to offer flexible monthly payment plans.

  • Set up automatic bank payments or use your credit/debit card
  • SSO login and password required

Note: Credit/debit payments include a 2.85% service fee (2.75% if paid in person at the Cashier's Office).

Pay in Full

Pay your full balance online through Nelnet or in person at the Cashier鈥檚 Office.

Accepted forms of payment:

  • Cash or check (no fee)
  • Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express (2.75% service fee)

Credit/Debit Card Service Fees

All credit and debit card transactions include a non-refundable service fee:

  • 2.75% for payments made in person or by phone at the Cashier鈥檚 Office
  • 2.85% for payments made through Nelnet

How Can I Avoid the Service Fee?

  • Pay online using a bank account (checking or savings)
  • Pay in person with cash or check

Remember: Payment in full or enrollment in a payment plan is required within 48 hours of registration.

FAQs About Card Fees

Q: Will the fee appear on my student account?
A: No. The service fee is charged by a third-party processor and does not appear on your 51动漫 account.

Q: How does it appear on my credit card statement?
A: You will see two separate transactions鈥攐ne for tuition and one for the service fee.

Q: Is the fee refundable?
A: No. The service fee is non-refundable, even if the tuition payment is reversed.
