First-Time Users: Setting Up Your SSO Profile

Before you can access your 51动漫 student tools, you鈥檒l need to activate your SSO (Single Sign-On) account. To get started, you鈥檒l need:

What You鈥檒l Need

  • Your 7-digit Student ID number
  • Your Viking ID

How to Create Your Viking ID

Your Viking ID is made up of:

  • The first initial of your first name
  • Your full last name
  • The last 3 digits of your Student ID

Example:
Name: Josh Hoberman
Student ID: 0054321
Viking ID = jhoberman321

How to Set Up Your SSO Account

  1. Go to the .

  2. Click on the 鈥淎ccount Activation鈥� link just below the Sign In button.

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to create your profile.
    You鈥檒l need your Student ID and Viking ID to complete setup.

Canvas

Canvas is your online classroom. Use it to view and submit assignments, check grades and feedback, take quizzes and exams, and stay connected with your instructors.

Login Reminder: Use your Viking ID as your username (example: jsmith321) and the password you set when activating your SSO account.

Viking Email

Your official 51动漫 email is powered by Google, so it works just like a regular Gmail account.

Use your Viking email to communicate with instructors and staff, receive important college updates, and stay informed about deadlines, events, and support services.

Login Reminder: Your username is your Viking ID followed by @viking.glenoaks.edu.
Example: jsmith321@viking.glenoaks.edu
Use the same password you created for your SSO account.
